What’s Raised Here Stays Here

The Cancer Resource Fund was created by the founders of the long successful Oregon Cancer Ski Out to enable individuals and other groups to take action in the fight against cancer. The Cancer Resource Fund provides its tax-exempt status to other fund raising activities folks develop within their own personal fight against cancer. Over the years, we have heard of different concepts for raising money, many of them without the favorable tax treatment that is found in IRS provision 501(c)3, giving tax benefit to individuals and company sponsors.

Every effort you make, matters to an individual or family affected by cancer!

We encourage you to present your ideas to the Cancer Resource Fund Board of Directors for consideration. For further information, please contact:

A Father's Story

“My daughter, Sarah, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in October 2014 at age 7. I was devastated by the news that my daughter had cancer. Her journey was long and had many obstacles but thanks to the wonderful people at Candlelighters for Children with Cancer as well as Randall Children’s Hospital and Children’s Cancer Association Sarah’s story has a happy ending – she continues to be cancer free for more than 3 years now! Bless these organizations for their time and love they give to these beautiful little heros.”
